I've decided to take a walk to explore the world around me. If you'd like to come along, I'll share my thoughts with you on what I've found on this journey.

Delay--100 Words
Delays.
I hate delays.
All kinds of delays.
I hate sitting in traffic and being delayed in arriving at work.
I hate being delayed when I travel by plane.
I hate being delayed because the person in the checkout lane has 30 items instead of the 20-item limit.
I hate delays.
Last week, delay came and hit me between the eyes.
It was not of my doing. I had no way to prevent it. And, to make it even worse, there’s nothing I can do about it.
Except accept it. Live with it. And, get over the frustration it brings.

With you on this one Steve. Whether it is delays in real life or delays in waiting for a word from God, I don't like them. I need to learn to slow down and allow His timing to be mine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting today Bill.
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really, really struggle with this! (Did I tell you that I really struggle with it?)
Oh man, what is waiting so hard? Can't I just learn to let go and let God?
