Backstabbing--100 Words

Backstabbing.

You know the term. Don’t you?

Probably felt it a few times? Haven’t we all.

A friend does it to us.

We do it to a friend.

Sometimes it is to tear them down. Sometimes it is to build ourselves up.

All the time it is wrong and destructive.

Les Parrot described backstabbers: “They put on a front that appears accommodating, loyal, and yes, even sacrificial. Then, without warning, they raise their knife, and by the time you see the glint of the blade, it’s almost always too late.”

I wonder what the world would be like without backstabbing.

  2. It would be a better world for sure. I've been backstabbed on several occasions. But end the end my character overcame it. The hurt was still there but people finally saw that the ones who stabbed me in the back were wrong and I didn't say a thing. In fact the last time in happened near the Gulf Coast, I didn't know I was being back stabbed until they fired the one who was doing it.
