Gossip.Did you hear the latest? No? Let me tell you.
Better yet. In Christian circles, we wouldn’t dare gossip. So, what’s a sinner to do? “Can I share a prayer request with you…?”
A Jewish proverb almost got it right: “What you don’t see with your eyes, don’t witness with your mouth.”
I might improve on that proverb slightly: Whether you see it with your own eyes or not, don’t witness it with your mouth.”
I’m tired of gossip. There’s no room for it. Either my telling the latest or hearing it. Gossip is mean, ugly, and not Christ-like.

ReplyDeletewe watched a tv show about michael jackson yesterday and brianna asked me what was wrong with that man who looks so strange.. i said he had a disease and it took his life.. little did i realize how true that was.. no need to explain further.. ppl want to gossip about all things.. i admit my desire to find out the scoop sometimes too.. however, it is an open door for the enemy and he sure does like to walk across that threshold.
