I've decided to take a walk to explore the world around me. If you'd like to come along, I'll share my thoughts with you on what I've found on this journey.

Thursday's Question of the Day
How many Christians do you know whose lives demonstrate holy boldness? What does that quality look like?
How ironic Steve. As I type this one of the google ads on the side is titled "Get Rid of Roaches." Given your earlier post of the day, I have to chuckle. I know...doesn't take much does it?
Holy boldness? Hmm. Well, Anne Jackson isn't really a "friend" other than cyber world. I love her site www.flowerdust.net. She stretches me and I love her take on things. It's refreshing.
This is why I like your "Question of the Day"... They make us think.. well, at least they do me any way.
I know more now than I used to, but then again not as many as I would like to.
What does that quality look like? Hard to explain, but definitely know it when I see/hear it. It's like going where God would have them go where they would not go themselves otherwise. IT is a quality totally reliant upon the Holy Spirit.
Some of the people I know whose lives demonstrate "holy boldness" will never be famous by the world's standards - nor would they want to be.
This is a toughie to answer. I can answer "one less than I would like to say." Perhaps if I could know what that is it would help.

ReplyDeleteI know Bill...I saw that too and laughed out loud...
ReplyDeleteThe question said, "Are cockroaches getting on your nerves?"
I wanted to scream out, "No, but the politicians are!"
