I've decided to take a walk to explore the world around me. If you'd like to come along, I'll share my thoughts with you on what I've found on this journey.

Create A Caption
Let's all play along. Here's a picture of my son taken last Friday. Give it your best shot. What caption would you give to the photo?
"Sorry ladies. I'm taken. My heart belongs to another...my mom."
For you Steve: i will reserve any comment regarding whom he looks like. But since he is cute and lovable and a huge killer smile I would have to say he looks like one of the members of your household. And since I said he was cute and lovable and a huge killer smile they may have to leave a certain male member of that family out. But far be it from me to say whom!
ROFL!! I didn't mean for that to happen, but it's funny that it did. Usually the first born looks just like good ol' dad. In my case, they BOTH look like him (see that's the real reason for child #3 over here -- I need a look alike). So I'm glad to see your wife in him finally. She probably is too. It's hard carrying for so long, battling all that preggo crapola, and then add insult to injury when Jr looks nothing like you. Grrr!!
My son, the oldest, looks AND acts JUST LIKE his dad. It is uncanny, the resemblance. My daughter, OTOH, looks a lot like I did when I was little, but she acts like a cross between my mom and little sister, and THAT is just scary.
And I tell ya, Rocky Top -- he's singing it, I can tell!
So...Heidi...if he/she looks like hubby, should we expect more news from your household...say, maybe next summer or fall?
Karma...if Evan starts singing rocky top...he'll be the only person singing that song this week! Wonder how the volunteers will line up against the Tigers this Saturday...may not be pretty!
Bill...the answer to your question is simple: Karma is delusional!
That's right, ladies, they buy me Pampers. I'm dry, dry, dry. Come on over and give my little toy a snuggle.

PS: He's getting so big!!! He looks like your wife in this photo. He's adorable!!
Heidi...I really appreciate you saying, "He looks like your wife..." then you go right into, "He's adorable..."
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm assuming if he looked like me he wouldn't be adorable?
"hey, I'm cute..and yes, I know it.."
ReplyDeletePhil...not very far from the truth!
ReplyDelete"I've got them wrapped around my finger."
ReplyDeleteOh, Parker said, "Awww. Look at the cute baby."

You know Bill...when you throw a fella under the bus, you don't play around, do you?
ReplyDeleteSteve: It's that brotherly love for ya! ha!
ReplyDeleteWith this kind of brotherly love...maybe I need to move to Philadelphia...at least your son would love me there!
ReplyDelete"Check out this nice head of hair. Thank da. . . oh wait."
ReplyDeleteHe's actually singing. . .
ReplyDeleteRocky Top, you'll always be,
home sweet home to me,
Good ole' Rocky Top,
Rocky Top Tenneessee!
Karma...you mistook his picture...he doesn't have gas or indigestion...
ReplyDeleteBut then again...is ANYONE actually singing that song these days?

What song is that Karma? I never heard of it before! :) Besides, why would anyone ever want to sing it anyway?
