Well, Evan didn't disappoint us with his reaction to his first Christmas. He enjoyed the trees, lights, presents, decorations, spending time with family and friends, and getting totally spoiled by everyone he saw.
However, by Saturday afternoon, we had to reel him back in just a little!
So, he found himself spending some time in "baby prison," I mean his baby play pen!
And no, I couldn't leave him in there for very long...not with a face like that!
Awwwww! Way too cute and funny! Oh, you just wait until next year! That's when the "fun" really begins....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning...I mean heads up!
ReplyDeleteI know it will be interesting...
My daughter was 11 months old her first Christmas and was not yet walking on her own. She woke us up at 4 in the morning and grabbed my index finger on both hands like a couple of handle bars. Then she proceeded to walk me into the living room and open her presents. When she was done, she went right back to sleep. It was so cute I couldn't get mad.
ReplyDeleteI will go along with Camey no this one Steve. Braden turned 2 in october and he was so much fun to watch this Christmas. You may have to make those real bars by then. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is determined to climb out of that thing whether you are aware of it or not. What a darling little boy!

Joe...children are so funny and so cute...and yes, it really makes it hard to get mad at them!
ReplyDeleteBill...I think I will have something made by then...are you any good at welding? I'm thinking extra duty strength welds will do the job...something he can't chew through...
ReplyDeleteTrust me Heidi...I know what's on his mind...escape!!!
