I've decided to take a walk to explore the world around me. If you'd like to come along, I'll share my thoughts with you on what I've found on this journey.

Christian or A Christ-Follower
Here's a great parody based on the popular MAC/PC TV commerical. Where do you fit in?
I plan to watch this when I get home and have sound. The laptop I am using is different and I can't find the sound. I started calling "followers of Christ" Christ-followers instead of Christians because calling one self a Christian is so blase' and so common. It may be nit-picking but it is my way of distinguishing.
Finally had a chance to hear it Steve. I liked it. One of the things that is a pet peeve of mine (am I allowed those) is calling the place we meet for worship "God's house." Or where we meet "the sanctuary." May be nit-picking again but I thought we were God's house/sanctuary. Just my 2 cents worth. And frankly, I don't think God cares one rip about our clothes.
Since I changed professions in 2001, I've been known to wear jeans to church! YIKES! And you know what, I feel great about it! I agree with you, God doesn't care one hoot what we wear! Just look at how John the Baptist dressed! That should prove that theory!

This is a serious of four videos. Trust me, if you haven't seen it or used it in worship, you will probably do so ASAP! What a message!
ReplyDeleteThat was great Steve! Thanks for sharing it.. And you were just prayed for by a Christ-follower. Fantastic message..
