Living Life--100 Words

[This picture was taken last month on our Spring Break trip to St. Augustine, Florida. Evan, my two-year-old, loves the beach! And, he's teaching me a thing or two about living life.]

Living life.

How are you living life?

Your life?

Stop thinking about everyone else.

Don’t hurry through that question. Take a moment to think about it.

Are you living your life as if the promises of God may not be true?

Or.

Are you living your life as if the promises of God are true?

HUGE difference there!

So, which is it?

I’ve been in both places. And, it seems that I fluctuate between the two way too often!

I have to learn to live as if nothing but God is true!

When, in reality, isn’t that the case?

Thoughts?

Promises--100 Words

Promises.

In theory, when someone gives a promise, you should trust them. Believe in what they say because they say what they mean.

That’s theory.

Unfortunately, theory and reality don’t always match.

Who among us believes a promise from a politician? He or she may mean what they say—until a large donor comes along or someone who can enhance their career in politics.

Then, the promise is out the window.

Too often, I have to ask myself if I am any better than that politician. Do I keep my word?

Do I mean what I say?

Sometimes. Not always.
