Okay, I know what you will say after watching this video. You can go ahead and save your comments! My wife has already said I was crazy for liking this song and even thinking about posting it on my blog. But, have you ever gotten a song in your head and couldn't get rid of it? Well, that's the case with this one.
I first heard it a couple of months ago. As you watch the video, those of you who follow my blog regularly, will know what attracted me to the music. It wasn't the person singing--to be honest--I didn't even know who was singing it until I went out to YouTube! As a matter of fact, this is probably the only song I've ever even heard by this artist! Honest!
So, sit back. Listen. And enjoy the reminder of how sweet Alabama really is!
Comment if you want to. But, save the really, really negative comments, if you don't mind. Knowing that my wife thinks I am crazy is really enough!
Loved it!
ReplyDeleteHeidi
You like it because he has more hair than you???
ReplyDeleteHeidi...why did I know that would be your reaction...
ReplyDeleteKarma...he does have more hair, but not even close...
Good thing I wasn't drinking my diet coke at the time.. otherwise -it would all over my keyboard..
ReplyDeleteor up and out my nose!
I want to thank you Steve for making it possible for me to hear the very first song I ever heard by Kid Rock. I liked tune to the song. Video was eye candy. But dang it I have that tune in my head now! Curse you Alabama boy! is there a Pittsburgh one around anywhere? Like maybe Steel Town Blues or Victory in PA?
ReplyDeleteUhh.....
ReplyDeleteNow Steve.... Even I can't claim to know that's how Bill would react! ;)
ReplyDeleteBill - you said "eye candy" and "dang it".... oh my.
Because, my friend, I am cooler than cool and you just knew it would be right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteOrrrrr...
Actually it totally reminds me of my high school days -- video and all (minus the pole dancing). But boats, bikinis, and boys -- yep, been there a few times. Fun times for an Ohio-born teenager!!
Heidi
Sorry if my reference to eye candy was taken wrong. So let me just say this: I liked the tune to the song. :)
ReplyDeleteBill: ROFL!! You cracked me up!!
ReplyDeleteHeidi
Heidi: help! What does ROFL stand for? I don't text so I am clueless. Chalk it up to old age. :)
ReplyDeleteROFL stands for "Really Old Fella Laughing".
ReplyDeleteI think it is some kind of insult...
;-)
Thanks Rick...I think. :) I think I will hold out for Heidi (please don't hurt my tender, sensitive feelings Heidi)
ReplyDeleteRick & Bill,
ReplyDeleteYou two are CMUBT!
OK,Heidi,
ReplyDeleteI give up... what is CMUBT?
Rick,
ReplyDeleteSince I'm not a legalistic and I'm betting Heidi can't tell you what I meant on this one..
it means - Cracking Me Up Big Time
Camey,
ReplyDeleteSorry about that. I mis-read who wrote, "CMUBT".
Thanks for the explanation! :-)
Rick: we been had. makes sense now Camey. Will have to remember that one. But I still want to know what ROFL. Let's hope it isn't Really Old F**t Laughing. I may get my feelings hurt on that one. :)
ReplyDeleteSteve hasn't responded today... So I checked out his facebook page.
ReplyDeletePray.. I don't know why but pray! Others have left him comments there saying they are.
Sorry - busy day.
ReplyDeleteROFL = rolling on the floor laughing
sometimes I say this ROFLMBO

I noticed his silence most of the day yesterday (Tuesday) with no new entry today. Sent a personal email but have not heard back. Sure hope he & family are ok.
ReplyDeleteOkay... based off facebook today.. sounds like Steve is ill.
