Gratitude--100 Words

Gratitude.

I sometimes don’t seem very grateful. I recognize that.

I’m not alone in that. But, this blog isn’t about your failings. Just mine.

You see, I’m not always grateful for the freedoms I have as an American.

I’m not always grateful for the faith I can live openly in our country.

At times, I’m not as grateful for my wife as I should be.

Often, I’m not grateful for the home I live in, food I eat, clothes I wear, or the car I drive.

I tend to take too much for granted.

For that, I repent.

Sorry Lord.

Evan's New Toy

What is it with boys and appliances?

On Thanksgiving afternoon, Evan came to the dish washer and just stood and watched his mother load the machine.

We haven't figured out his love for the dish washer yet, but he obviously is amazed by it.

And, I can hear all of the female readers of the blog, so I'll just save you time! Why do little boys who love dish washer grow up to be men who act as if they've never seen one before!
