I am so thankful to God that I get to be a "stay-at-home" mom to my 3-year old daughter and do contract work from my home office.Natashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14846354211343453871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010404870010692022.post-72675973150743513142008-10-26T21:12:00.000-05:002008-10-26T21:12:00.000-05:00My husband works a lot. Now he works over an hour away. We are squeezed for time with him. I am running on empty most days.

We won't have a BMW when it's over. But we will be free from all of our credit card debt, one vehicle will be paid off, and our kids will be guaranteed a Christian education throughout their lives. Our tenant moved out of our Ohio house in August. We don't have a new one yet. So we are also paying 2 mortgages right now. If it wasn't for his career positioning and opportunities we would have lost that Ohio house -- or been on the way to losing it anyway.

Even though it's been a rough year (this has been going on since January of this year), I will have to tell you it has been worth it. It really has. One year. Digging in and knocking it out. That's it.

I joke with him all the time that we won't know what to do with ourselves once his hours regulate. Then I laugh harder when reality sinks in because we'll have a newborn then. No rest for the weary.

Great song.

Heidi ReedAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010404870010692022.post-45636083617021415382008-10-26T17:11:00.001-05:002008-10-26T17:11:00.001-05:00If I could learn to type, that should have been "l...If I could learn to type, that should have been "lived" not "liked"...M. The lives of many people up there were the epitome of this song. Everyone was building their castle of BMWs and high-end power jobs, but sacrificing so much. I had to leave because I didn't want to be the guy in this song.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13409526901970164753noreply@blogger.com
